Ready for 15 seconds of fame? A new episode of our weekly video magazine, Rider 360, is released every Wednesday. Each episode runs on RiderMagazine.com for one week and then is archived in our video gallery. We invite you to submit your own video introduction to kick off a weekly episode. If you are interested, here are the guidelines:
- Your introduction should be 15-20 seconds long (anything longer may be edited or excluded)
- While on camera, be sure to say the following: your name, where you are located or live, and “Welcome to Rider 360” (or some variation thereof)
- Try to avoid panning, zooming and backlighting (but if you’re a skilled videographer, then show us your best stuff!)
- Please review your video to make sure you like it, that sound and lighting are good, etc.; practice makes perfect
- Posing with your bike, interesting locations and creativity are encouraged; however, please avoid profanity, nudity, stunts or any illicit activity (we reserve the right to exclude any video clip for any reason, and we are not responsible for any knuckle-headed stuff you do that causes damage or injury)
- Please do not include music or anything else that is trademarked unless it belongs to you and permission is granted for unlimited use
- By submitting a Rider 360 introduction video clip, you give us full rights of use
- Preferred file formats are .AVI or .MOV, but .MPEG and mini-DV tapes also acceptable; high-definition (HD) video is not necessary
- Send us your video clip via email to gdrevenstedt@affinitygroup.com if the file is 10MB or less; otherwise mail it to us at the address below on CD, DVD or SD card (if the media must be returned to you, then include a self-addressed, stamped envelope)
- Depending on the number of submissions, we may not be able to use all of them; editors will select the best clips for use
