You’re riding along on one of these new 2008 supersports, and suddenly slow down to contemplate the moment you’ve been waiting for. The road before you sweeps down into a valley, runs tidy and direct for several miles with nary a home or driveway or traffic, then climbs the other side–clear,... Read more »

TOKYO, Japan, October 2001: At the annual motorcycle show here this month, among the parade of exotic concept bikes, one neo hot-rod spoke to us–literally–more than any other, the Suzuki B-King. 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Road Test

THE 2007 SUZUKI GSX-R1000 JUST MAY BE THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO SPORT-TOURING MOTORCYCLES SINCE THE SADDLEBAG.

October 24, 2007

It must be hard for a company like Suzuki to improve what many consider to be the finest liter-class sportbike on the market. When an existing motorcycle model is revamped, I hold my breath. Who will win in the corporate tug of war: The bean counters or the moto enthusiasts? How will they “improve” it? How much higher will that “new and improved” price be? For these reasons I was concerned when I heard... Read more »

Suzuki Motorcycle Standouts

Suzuki motorcycle reviews Suzuki introduced the first GSX-R750 sportbike in 1985, and it was one of the first motorcycles to offer the power, performance and lightweight of a racing motorcycle to consumers. In 2002, Suzuki introduced the DL1000 V-Strom, an adventure touring motorcycle that combined power, comfort, ruggedness and load capacity into a go-anywhere package. Due to excellent performance in Suzuki motorcycle reviews and road tests, V-Stroms – along with the DL650 variant introduced in 2004 – have proven to be very popular among touring riders.
