The survey includes questions about your bikes, riding habits, gear, accessories and aims to find out more about those of you who read our magazine. Thanks in advance for participating!

After completing the survey, you may enter your name and email address or phone number into a drawing for a Men’s TPG Rainier Jacket or Women’s TPG Monarch Jacket both available in DayGlo or Black/Silver with a retail price of $499.95) and a pair of TPG Escape Pants ($399.95) from Firstgear. The prize (valued at $899.45) will be awarded to one randomly selected survey participant at the conclusion of the survey and will be mailed at our expense. Only U.S. participants are eligible to win the prize, and all local, state and federal taxes are the responsibility of the winner. The winner will be contacted using the email address he/she provided. Chances of winning are dependent on the number of entries.

Your survey is broken. Where it asks what type of motorcycle would be considered for a future purchase, it wouldn’t accept any of my choices and kept saying the question required an answer. Only after I unchecked every choice was it accepted.

During the last 4 years my 3 friends and I have travelled extensively in the northwest USA and southwest Canada three on Harley Road Kings and me on a BMW R1150R.

About 20,000 miles total without a mishap and only two mechanicals ,broken final drive belt and a flat. Great riding with advice from Rider, thanks

I clicked on the “CLICK HERE TO TAKE THE SURVEY” and it lead me to a thank you for taking the survey message, with another icon to submit my responses. Unfortunately, there are no responses as your CLICK HERE link does not link to the survey, only the Submit icon. You need to correct this before the “survey” gets too far down the road, and allow us to “retake” the survey. Thanks…

Dave, We have thousands of survey responses and you are the first person to mention having this problem. Is there any chance you or someone else in your household has already completed the survey? We only allow one per IP address, and if you try again it would redirect you as you have explained. If you have not completed the survey already, then please let us know as something funny is certainly going on and we will then forward your comments to our technical department.

It may be that I had previously taken the survey, if this has been in operation for more than a month. When I saw the link, I assumed that this was a brand new survey, so I clicked on it to take it. I would suggest that your link include additional programming to generate a message to those who had already taken the survey, to inform them that the system had already received a survey response from the person’s email account. Thanks.

Survey returned me to question #48 which asks which insurance company I use for my truck. I had just answered NO to question #47, which asks if I own a truck. I left a note in the “other” box.

    thanks for a great magazine!!!

Can’t take survey. It just says, “Thank you for taking the survey” and there’s no way to enter the contest.

Michael, is it possible that you already completed the survey? We only allow one per IP address (computer) and if you try again that is the message that you would receive. This survey has been live for a couple months already.

That’s probably the case. But it’s colder than a panner’s butt in the Yukon and I need new riding gear! ☺☺

Hello, took your survey, had a bit of a problem with the occupation question. When I chose “other” and filled in my occupation, it said that I needed to complete the question. I had to scroll to the closest fit to my job type (which none were quite right), and select that also. Now have two job descriptions. You guys can pick the one you like!

    Signed,

As thius Surevey and the prize only relates to US riders, whu not state this at the very begiining of the survey and NOT on the last page.
You have lost all the information I have wasted my time entering because of this. An Australian rider has exactly the same qualities and buying power as an American, and with the internet we represent potential buyers from your advertisers. Your loss is another country’s gain!

    Rider Magazine Reply:

We’re sorry you didn’t see the disclaimer before you started the survey, Mark. We clearly state that only U.S. participants are eligible to win the prize BEFORE you click on the link to take the survey. It’s in the second paragraph of this page. We very much want your input and have had lots of people from other countries complete the questionnaire despite the fact that they are not eligible for the prize.
