I really need to replace the stock seat on my 09 Road King. My problem is I don't want to spend big bucks on a seat and it the same as the stocker. I have my eye on the Super Touring seat by Mustang. Any suggestions? The wife and I are tired of getting Monkey Butt after a couple hundred miles.

freddie ray,
I put a Mustang touring seat on my 05 RKC and it is money well spent. My wife and I have logged over 34,000 miles and we are very happy with the seat. One thing I have learned in 40+ years of riding is , keep the wife comfortable and it's a beautiful ride. Have Fun and RIDE SAFE

I have a Comfort Stitch seat on my '05 that is super comfy for driver and rider. I just looked online and it only fits up to '07 according to the catalog. The pillow seat for the '09 has similar specs as far as width goes but that is always a matter of personal taste.

Hey Freddie Ray,
The stock seat on my 08 Street Glide was torture after about an hour riding, and my wife said she would not ride with me again on that seat. So, I got Harley's Sundowner (2 up) touring seat (about $275)and everybody is happy again. What a huge difference.

Another recommendation for Mustang. They make great seats.

It probably depends on the model. Mine is a "Vintage" for a Street Bob, and it actually moves me lower and back a little.
