I heard a rumor that American Rider is going out of business and the next issue is the last.
Is this true or just another stupid rumor?

I don't think so. I just got a reply from Chelsea Adams (who puts this mag together each month) regarding how to submit a story. She said there is going to be some new features for riders stories in April. Hope it gets worked out. Besides, I just re-subscribed.

Interesting.
Up until last week I was the "Senior Editor" of American Rider.
Then, it was announced to myself, the managing editor, the advertising staff, and the graphics/layout crew that the June issue was the last one. We were all told that the print edition was kaput, finished, dead.
It will be interewsting to see what lives on on the web.

crap. Reg, if ya decide to go for a ride, swing by here, I will buy ya a cold one. Good magazine. I liked the tone of the articles, always wanted to see it go monthly.
I did put my money in, I 'was' a subscriber.

All of us regulars who have become friends through our posts on this forum should find a way to exchange e-mail addresses so we can keep in touch if this forum goes the way of the magazine.

I'm pretty much in the dark as far as the future of the name is concerned. I do believe that a web presence will be maintained. If that's the case, this forum should be safe.

I have always gotten to the forum via the Rider Magazine site. I went there a minute ago to see if I could link to the 'other magazines', and check on American Rider, and the section is down.
Trailer Life and Motorhome magazine share the forum server, and they are very active. I think as long as they are up, we can tag along. I am saddened that AR is out of the picture, sometimes I wish that a company would say, hey, things are a bit tight, if ya wanna see this rag keep going, tell yer friends about it.
Is ThunderPress also affected?

Nope. Thunder Press and Rider (another sister-pub) are currently fine.
Chelsea tells me that subscribers will be offered the option of a Rider subscription.
