I have a 2008 Street Glide, and would like to get rid of that chrome hoop wrapped around the back fender above the tail light. It doesn't look like it has any pupose other than to mount the little reflector. With it gone, the fender would be a lot cleaner. What do you think?

I think it's YOUR scoot - so the HE11 with what any of the rest of us think.

Now - what do YOU think about THAT?

I want to know if it is necessary for something, like, does it give support to the rear frame? And will it weaken anything if it's gone?
