Hopefully, your silence thus far means you're happily out riding.

Let us know!

you are sooooo insightful..just got home...200 mile day....getting used to the new pipes....
no question...when I light off the bike....first impression is....sheeet.......gowadamn.....now that is what a Harley ought to sound like....
but....you gotta like the 2-1 sound....still quite different from duals....but much better then the SE pipes...
second observation.....engine sure seems like it breathes better....I'm changing gears at 2000 rpm....dont need much more....3000 rpm is all I need...torque is very strong at low rpms....hav'nt had the bike north of 4000 rpm yet....just dont'seem a need to do that....
my only complaint....is the strap for the collector heat shield is quite noticeable.....I will see if RB Racing will make a me a little chrome strip to hide that...or I might take the collector heat shield off.
pipes are loud...but no more than the SE pipes......you can still cruise home without waking up the missus...
anyway...I will take pics tomorrow and post....pipes look very nice... I like 'em a lot....sounds waaaayyy better than the SE pipes.....
the sound kinda burbles....at cruise.....y'know....hard to explain...
overall I would say...pipes have AUTHORITY !!!!
I have'nt had to do anything to the carb...engine is very happy...no backfires or weird noises.....idles nice.......
the only muffler affect is the tiny little strip of muffler inside the collectot=r...looks like a strip from a cheese grater has been wrapped around the inside of the collector...it appears to be around 6" long...other than that...the pipes are STRAIGHT THRU....
Other pipes I have seen...the muffler completely restricts the opening...not the RB pipes....
all in all....very sweet...
if you've got $700 laying around....I can recommend them.....
ok.....I will ride more tomorrow and take pics...and post them on Monday
