..I have a SE 2-into-1 exhaust on my Heritage....my bike accelerates like a bat outa hell, and I have torque everywhere I need it....
..but the sound....lordy..lordy...lordy.....it just does'nt sound like a Harley should.....I don't know whether that is due to having high compression pistons, which tend to have more of a " sharp barking" sound...or if it is the SE pipes....I believe H-D no longer sells the SE 2 into 1 pipes anymore....
..my SE pipes are REALLY loud...I mean really LOUD....you can hear me coming from 5 miles away....and while I like loud pipes....these pipes are starting to annoy me...

..I rode to Bike Oktoberfest with a friend that has 2 into 1 Thunderhead exhaust....what a lovely sound.....but it has an akward curve in the header pipes which does not appeal to me, plus it has a weird looking end...

..soooo.....I'n looking at the Rinehart 2 into 1....it has the looks...but I have not heard one on a bike...

....help...anyone ???

RB Racing

That's everything you need to know. I've had them on all my HDs. Flat out the best you can get.

Read all about them, you'll thank me later.

My riding buddy has the Rinehart True Duals, don't know if he left off something when he installed them, but they are chest beatin' loud. Literally, yer chest is reverberating to the beat, iffen ya drop back a little, instead of riding side by side. Even louder now that he went to 95 inch.

Someone here has good luck with Rush. Or maybe you can wrap the baffles like Joe Minton says, in the latest issue of American Rider.

I second what Greenman said, RB Racing. I have no experience with them, just other's experience.

..well, what a fascinating article....very informative....amazing what they can do with a v-twin engine....amazing.....simply amazing...kudos' to all involved with that project...

..in real life though....compromise seems to be the key word....I ride a 2004 Heritage ( which I bought used ) with some minor mods...95" engine, blah blah blah....
..it's pretty fast...I'v had it up to 115 mph....it accelerates hard...got gobs of torque when riding 2-up....and I love the thing to death.....
..I've no doubt...after reading that article....that those pipes will do the job....but they just don't look " pretty"....
..ok...I said it....it's not that my bike is a trailer queen, but I do like the way it looks, and the way the exhaust looks...and sounds....is probably more important to me than flat out speed and power....

but I appreciate the article and may read it again and try my luck again at the starting lights of the drag strip......

You may want to check out this site http://www.zippersperformance.com I think these are nice looking pipes and Zipper's gets some pretty impressive power gains. I have no experience with the sound and I have RH true duals on my Road Glide but I wish I had used these 2 into 1 pipes for more HP & Torque, but at the time I couldn't stand the look of a single pipe on a dresser.

Yeah that's high, but find the pipe you like and start seaching the net. I bet you can find them cheaper by going to the manufacturers site and look for links for retail sales. Also look at Zippers site for tech specs, I saw a stock softail with 2 into 1 pipes and their high flow air filter with the thundermax ECM and I believe it got a 28 hp gain on this simple upgrade. I thought it was pretty impressive, I didn't get that much for the same setup with Rinehart true duals.
