Mileage on Jan. 1st 09 was 53,701.

How many miles will you put on this year? I say 10,000 for me.

How about you?

I will have to guess around 5K miles. I need to get into a group that rides.

Some sweet roads in TX. I rented an Ultra in Beaumont several years ago, really enjoyed running thru the Big Thicket Natl Preserve, and out to the coast.

That helps, but I really enjoy getting out by myself, too. Makes it easier to change routes, or go back and get the photo you were thinking about.

Fewer every year. Last summer was probably around 3K and it wouldn't have been that much if my daughters didn't like to ride so much. Since I started trailering the bike I go more places, have more fun and get less tired. It is great to relax the 200 miles home at the end of a long day.

Anything over 5000 a year is a good year for me. I try for 10,000 a year. I put more miles on riding by myself. Like Ride Slow said it is easier to change routes, you do not have to wait on anyone. Go at your own pace. Have Fun and RIDE SAFE.

So far my 2006 vstar classic and i have averaged 13+k a year. most of that is job related. Some of it i would say is pleasure. Now that i think about it all of it is pleasure because i really enjoy my rides no matter where i go. I wish i could make more pleasure rides but i work alot of weekends for extra money and it seems we never have enough time to spend enjoying the road. Well i'll be watching this post, see ya'all in passing on the road. later Hawg out.

You trailering behind an RV? If I am going to see this great country of ours, I am going to have to bring something nice for my lovely bride to stay in. Right now the plan is to load the bike in the back of the pickup using some sort of loader, Rampage or Load All, and drag the travel trailer to set up a home base. Then spend some time riding and exploring.
