I have been riding since I was 20, and I am 36 now, so I guess that is only 16 years. I owned a 500 Honda Ascot, 2 750 Yamaha Maxims, 920 Yamaha Maxim, and now an 05 Road King Custom. Usually put on about 15k miles per year, except for a year in the sandbox with the Army. One wreck last year, but now at least the bike is paid for as it was totalled! Fixed it for about 2g and you would never guess it was ever laid down.

First bike, back in 1974 was an old Honda. Wasn't long before I got over it and picked up a nice Sportster. Then got a Panhead, been happy with it ever since.

Since 1966. First: Cushman Super Eagle. Then Yamis, Suzis and Hondas from 90cc to 500. A bit of Bultaco. Toss in some Hodakas. Mix it up with various (loaned) MX Yams, Suzi's and Hondas on amateur circuits for some very interesting scar patterns that don't accept tans. KZ1100 and a customized GL.
Looking forward to my next mount but haven't decided which direction to go.
I guess that pegs me at 41+ years. Damn, I love two wheels!!
Greatness is not in where we stand, but in what direction we are moving.

I think I was born to ride... I came out feet first and been ridin ever since... My current ride is a VStar1300 Tourer, which will see about 9,000 miles a year... But I'll ride anything, if I have to... I Love dirt bikes and back roads. I think I'd like to try a cross country ride on gravel and dirt roads...

If you include Barrow, AK on your agenda you might get some company
That's a ride I need to do before I forget how to do it. It would also solve the question of my next mount (Ulysses?).

I used to attend lots of rallys, and wondered if I'd ever be the one winning a trophy for being the oldest there. I could qualify now, but really can't believe I'm the oldest one on this forum. I feel 40. That said, I've been riding since I was 12. That would now be over 60 years. Let's see if I recall them all. Began with a miniture scooter, 1 hp Briggs, no clutch, 24 mph top end. Then a Wizzer on a Schwyn, a 1952 Harley 125 (new), 48 Harley 74 with 49 Hydra Glide forks, 51 Harley 74 with suicide clutch, Honda 150 Dream, Honda 305, Honda 125 street scrambler (new), 81 Gold Wing (new), 88 Gold Wing (new), 04 Harley Ultra Classic (new), 05 Ultra (new), and currently an 06 Ultra with plans for an 09 Ultra with ABS. I'm a Shriner and participate in many parades each year. The wife and I and two other couples currently planning a four corners trip in August 2010 when I may retire. We all have the Uni-go single wheel trailer. Keep the rubber down boys. It rides so much bettr that way.
