Anyone owned either of these.

I think that the idea of having one with a side car would be pretty neat but the relaibility would be an issue.

The fact that they are based on the vintage BMW's is pretty neat.

Any imput??

I read a magazine review a few years ago that said they're good for low-speed use, but if you do any serious mileage or cruising at freeway speeds, they'll beat themselves to death pretty quickly.

My local Yamaha dealer was selling them a few years ago, and I thought it was a beautiful bike, and I think they only wanted 4 grand for them at the time, so I understand why you're interested.
