mnightangeld do you have any pictures with the Lindbar installed. I'm considering it also instead of the stock one.

I bought a Flanders beach bar that is 5" wider than the stock bar and a sprung solo saddle. Now I can do 1K per day, every day,
You sure about that? You must mean 1 Kilometer...

Congrats. Sounds like you've done some tasty stuff... forgive my ignorance, mnightangeld, but what's a Linby Bar?

Post a pic of your bike if you can!

Lava Red Sunglo... it looks candy apple red in the sunlight. Very cool.

How small of a person are you? For me, narrow bars are uncomfortable and pinched across the chest. The Flanders B6, at 37" wide, fits me perfectly. A wider bar opens up your upper body and lets you breathe more easily. It also gives you higher mechanical advantage in low-speed situations, which makes the bike easier to handle in lots and such. If you are a tiny person, I can imagine why you would want little bars. And no, I do mean one-thousand miles per day...

A linbar is made by Per Lindby, who pioneered the highway pegs and crash bars in one. They're pretty cool, if you like the modern look.

Here's a good link:

Lava Red Sunglo is going to go down as one of the great HD colors.

I've got a few more cosmetic changes brewing for my RK Custom, then I'll post some pics, 1K. Show us your scoot, too! :-)

One more thing...HD has announced the RK Custom specific leather Tour Pak. It's beautiful. Mine's already on order.

Awesome job on the Road King.Like someone else said, classic. As far as having no windshield.Simply ones choice for comfort.Nothing like being truly "in the wind" though.

I've liked those for years; I just didn't know what they were called.
Cool!

I am new to the forum. I to recently purchased an 04 RKC. I fell for it the first time I saw it. I have added a detachable windshield.
I am looking for suggestions on mufler upgrade from the stock. I would like to do this first and then later do the Stage 1. Enjoyed reading the feedback from forum.
