I NEVER like people that close to me unless it's someone that I've been riding with for years. Even then, I'm not too fond of it. It's not only stupid and inconsiderate but it's dangerous. I had some jackass pass me in the same lane on a turn into a major intersection. I was making a left hand turn and he passed me on the outside (right). How does he know how I ride? I could have taken the turn wide, hit him, and killed both of us. I had no idea he was even coming until he was past me. I wanted to catch up to him, drag him off of his bike, and beat him like he owed me money. I decided against that but it took me about 45 minutes to cool down.

This thing is actually very cool looking. Better than a lot of regular bikes.

Maybe. I ride on quite a few long distance trips and frankly I like my bike to look good, and cleaning it is the first thing I do when I blow into town from a long ride. I guess it's cool to have a dirty bike too, but you have to be pretty damn poor to not be able to afford a $2.00 car wash.

BTW Greenman, I have been off of here for quite a while and it's good to see that you are still on.

Cell phone ban while driving looked pretty good yesterday. I had to skid to a stop twice yesterday because idiots on phones didn't look before they pulled out.

On a seperate note, I can't believe how many bikes are on the road this summer. I could spend all day doing the wave. At times I felt like I was riding one handed. I think I am going to NOT wave at every rider anymore, it's getting comical at this point.

I have a new pic of my scoot since I put on the apes and moved the turn signals. I also put on the solo luggage rack which I hope to try out over the 4th. Looks pretty cool. If anyone that knows how to post a pic wants to see it, lemme know.

Hey Lionfan.......I got the solo rack too......yup,, looks great with my mustang solo seat. Was it much of a job to move the directionals?
I was thinking about adding some to the passing lamps I added and leaving the ones on the handlebars......2 sets = twice the likelyhood they see me!!!. I also added fog lamps to the crash bars. You can never have enough lights in my estimation.
When I'm 2up, It's her job to do "the wave"....it is getting ridiculous, but it is still better than the "rightous fist"!
She even waves to the Vespa/scooter crowd !!!
Does anyone know of a way to slow the idle on a fuel injected RKC? Is it an ECM THING?
As you can tell, I'm not a wrencher.....should I be concerned that oil leaks out of the airfilter?....Not alot, but her pants and the bag gets a few drips on every ride. Got just under 10 k for milage
Any info is appreciated.
