EASY!!!!........................

My '78 Superglide was red and I kinda miss it.
The moon reflecting off the bright red tank paint kept me awake on many a ride home from many a watering hole.
Of course I was a younger man back then.

Now, I depend on the chrome console on my black Road King to do the same thing after too many Metamucils.

If Metamucil makes you groggy, I strongly suggest that you don't take it before riding.

Remember, sh*t happens.

Uhhh........................
It was a joke.

So, I go in and get my money back for that bumper. He not only gives me the cost of the bumper, but sales tax and rounds it up. I'm satisfied, and it was left on a good note. May buy parts, but no service.

Find out what he was smokin' that day - and take him some next time you go to buy parts. LOL

Yeah. We ended up having a nice conversation about a Thunder Max ECM he had hanging on the wall. About $900, does what my Terminal Velocity does, but has two O2 sensors and completely replaces the stock ECU. He seems very knowledgable in that area. I've known him for about 10 years, that's why I was so taken aback by what happened.

I bought some passanger floor boards for the road glide. I can't get the rubber inserts to "seat" I'm ready to wrap the whole thing in bubble wrap and stick in it my bench vice.....

Try a little spray silicone to help ease the inserts into the footboard.

But remember - they are NOT designed to be a tight fit.
For comfort and resistence to vibration, they're supposed to float somewhat.

Thanks Hawgman, I'll try that. There are "tabs" that are supposed to come together. Because I can't get those tgether, the inserts just won't stay on.
