Hey G-Man. It's like a ghost town in here. We can run around and scream at the top of our lungs and nobody will hear us. Inevitably someone will come and tell us we are off topic though so I'll keep my screams to myself. How's the truck project rolling along? New bike in your future anytime soon?

Hey now,

The truck project is slow but good. I'm in the middle of rewiring the entire truck; the wires themselves are fine, but the old '60's insulation decays and you end up with shorts and fires. So, rewiring is a pain but it's ultimately cheap insurance. I also picked up a billet HEI distributor and an alternator to make things more reliable. I hope to start her up soon.

On the bike front, I'm not sure, but the FJR1300A (the "shift-it-yourself" version, of course), the Ulysses, and the F800GS are on the radar. After I win the lottery, I'd like to add the CrossBones (hate the name, like the bike) to the stable. If you have an extra 20G's laying around that you don't know what to do with, let me know...

How about you? What have you been up to?

Greenman.

That's what I was thinking. I saw the new Indiana Jones flick last weekend. It's fun. The kid, Mutt rides a Harley. It's supposed to be an old EL or something, but it's really a new Springer Classic or something. They don't even try to hide it. You would think that between Spielberg and Lucas they could have gotten a hold of a real 1950's Harley.

Hi Fellas,
Spielberg and Lucas probably have a friend that would lend it to them for the film. I'm fairly certain of that.

I've been super busy lately. My Mom has a house near the beach. So, I've been doing a bit of fishing on the weekends. I'm riding as much as I can and working on a music project again. All is incredibly good here.

Indian is coming back! Next year with 4 Chief bikes. All are 30k plus. 105 ci, Brembo brakes, 6 speed trannys, leather seats, and a couple of ex-Harley guys in the fold. Now if they didn't look so much like the damned Kawasaki Drifter I would be more receptive to the looks. those fenders are now just pure cheese, where once they were the trademark of a real cool motorcycle. I think I'd sue.

Finally have a prospective buyer for my father's house. Been working over there to get everything up to snuff. Inspection went well enough but it looks like the buyer was moving the pen. With everything that I've done over there I should just buy it myself. Can't wait to be finished.

Let me know if you're looking for something. I still have some 292 cu.in parts kicking around. All yours if you need them.
