Its great to be back! I missed you guys. Kids are well, Liam is 4 and Lily is 2. Time is flying by. Bike is currently in the shop for the 10k service, chrome inner primary, bag locks, and reduced pull clutch. Been great ride so far but I should have headed Greenman's advice.... I went with the Rineharts which have cracked up near where the go into the motor so I will need to replace them. This time I am going for the LSR 2-into-1's as Greenman advised me to do initially. At the time I was hung up on the fact that a bagger should have a pipe on each side- now I just want the performance and torque.... Family is well, but working a lot at the new (moved here in october 07) job... that about brings you all up to date. Anyone riding this way, be sure to look me up! What has been new with all of you??? How are you guys doing?

Well, if I was riding, I would come your way. Was in Anniston, Alabama, this morning, staying with my daughter in Richmond, KY tonight, and flying (yuck) home in a few days. Bikes everywhere today, wish I was riding instead of caging. Oh well.

If'n Y'all make it t'NorCal, swing by. I promise I won't make you ride She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed's Honda.

Thank You for your reply. went online about " Fellowship of the Kings"
and it said it's a computer game and thought there might be another
meaning. I was guessing that it might be a group of Road King riders.
Now I know. I live in up state NY This warm weather is beautiful but
it is killing me. Want to get out and ride but I'm laid up with a bad
shoulder {had a rotator cuff operation 4 wks ago} Hope I can ride for
Rolling Thunder, hate to miss it. I ride 05 Road King Custom,Black
Cherry Pearl. Changed the stock seat with a Mustang touring seat and
put Vance Hines exhaust {Big Shot Duals}with V.H. fuel-pak. Some
different than my old 78 FLH. Never had a bike I liked better than this
05 RKC. Do you ever ride up here in the Adirondacks? Later

Welcome to the Group! You are the proud owner of a (now) collectible American Icon.
I'm in Northern California these days, but 25+ years ago I lived in Rome NY, attended Rome Free Academy, and partied in Utica, Syracuse, Watertown, etc., etc.
So....did ya keep the pullback beach bars or replace them? I kept mine and I love them now.

Those dirty rotten bastidges!!!!
Have you all seen the CVO Road King? Chopped rear end, hard leather saddlebags, custom seat with backrests. Damn! I liked the Street Glide, but couldn't hang with a fairing in the middle of summer, but that freakin' $32K Road King is a sweeeeeeeeeet ride! 110" stroker with a 6th gear doesn't hurt either.
I really thought my '05 RKC was the ultimate, but.....

I kept the pullback beach bars.( I like em ! )I liked them from the first day I sat on the RKC. some people do not like them. but if everybody like the same thing they would all be riding black cherry pearl RKC's with pullback beach bars. I'm glad that not everybody likes the same thing. I am thinking about putting a Hoppe Quadzilla fairing on for early spring and late fall riding. I can't take the cold anymore. Has something to do with getting old. Do you ever get back to Rome? I live 90 miles east of Rome. Would like to ride to the west coast someday.
