Kawasaki Teases the Upcoming 2015 Ninja H2

Ninja H2Kawasaki has announced that it will unveil an all-new addition to its Ninja sportbike line at the Intermot Motorcycle Show in Cologne, Germany, which starts on September 30, 2014.

The new motorcycle will be named Ninja H2 in honor of Kawasaki’s original 1972 H2, and is being promoted with the tagline “Built Beyond Belief.” Development of the new model drew on expertise not just within the company’s motorcycle division, but across Kawasaki Heavy Industries’ aerospace, gas turbine and other high-tech manufacturing disciplines, giving the project “collective strength.”

Kawasaki says the new Ninja captures the spirit of the 1972 750cc Kawasaki Mach IV H2, as well as that of its predecessor, the 500cc three-cylinder H1, and the 1972 903cc Z1 Super Four, bikes which helped usher in the modern sportbike era.

No technical details about the Ninja H2 have been released, but Kawasaki has created a dedicated website that will feature a series of teaser videos about the H2 concept. To see the first installment and future videos, visit ninja-h2.com.
